Welcome to GeckGo Secure (Pty) Ltd, your reliable source for high-quality Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and related products.

This Site is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this Site.

They apply to all transactions with us, whether conducted via the online platform, in person, by email, telephonically, or through any other means of communication or engagement.

By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, or by engaging with us in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all other Policies as published on this Site in full.

Definitions

“PPE” means Personal Protective Equipment, including gloves, respirators, safety shoes, goggles, coveralls, face shields, and related protective products.
“Site” means this website [geckgosecure.com].
“We”, “our”, “us” refers to GeckGo Secure (Pty) Ltd.
“You”, “your” refers to the customer or website user, whether a business or individual.

Responsibility

We accept responsibility, within the framework of applicable laws, for all aspects of your transaction, including the sale of goods offered on this Site, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and the delivery of goods.

This responsibility is subject to the condition that You:

Act in good faith and is reasonable;
Fulfils all payment obligations truthfully and in full; and
Complies with all applicable terms and conditions, as well as any other related policies governing transactions with us.

Nothing in this statement shall be interpreted as a waiver of any of our rights or remedies available to us in law.

Eligibility

To use this Site or place an order, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age or be duly authorised to act on behalf of a legal entity;
Provide accurate, complete, and current billing and shipping information; and
Agree to be bound by these Terms and all related Policies as published on the Site, which are aligned with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002 (ECTA), where applicable.

If the Site is misused, or if You are found to be ineligible, any rights that You may have had under these Terms or in terms of applicable legislation may be forfeited. Notwithstanding this, we reserve the right to exercise all legal remedies available to us under the CPA, ECTA, or any other relevant laws, particularly where we have been misled, whether intentionally or otherwise.

Basic Terms

We comply with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA), and any return, refund, or replacement will be handled in line with the rights and obligations provided for under the CPA, where applicable.

All items are available for individual purchase unless otherwise stated.

The prices displayed on the Site are exclusive of VAT

Prices exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise specified.

Orders are subject to availability.

The offering on this Site is available to South African clients only.

Delivery is available within South Africa only.

If you are an international customer or require delivery outside of South Africa, please contact us directly to make alternative arrangements.

Value Added Tax

Geckcko Secure is not currently registered, nor required to be registered, for Value Added Tax (VAT). As a result, all prices displayed on this Site are exclusive of VAT.

Should VAT registration become applicable in the future, VAT will be charged at the prevailing standard rate from the effective date of registration.

Therafter, all prices displayed on this Site will be inclusive of VAT.

Please contact us at sales@geckgosecure.com if you believe your order qualifies for VAT zero rating.

Taxes

Domestic Orders: Prices currently exclude VAT unless otherwise stated or the applicable standard rate has been amended, subject to the VAT legislation at the time of the supply.

International Orders: You are responsible for any customs duties, VAT/GST, and import taxes, duties and or fees in your jurisdiction.

Product Description and Availability

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, and images are accurate.

However, we do not guarantee the Site is always error-free or up to date.

Availability may vary, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any item without prior notice.

The provision of goods and services is subject to availability.

In cases of unavailability, we will refund you in full within 30 days after becoming aware that the product is no longer available. It is subject to agreeing with you to apply the refund to an alternative product.

Cancellation or variation due to incorrect oders by you of orders by you will attract a 3% administration fee.

Warrantee

Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects.

The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper storage, or unauthorised modifications.

To initiate a claim, contact sales@geckgosecure.com following the Refund and Return Policy.

Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective item, subject to a valid and successful replacement by the supplier or manufacturer.

Wholesale Customers

Wholesale accounts are available to approved customers only.

Minimum order values or quantities may apply and will be communicated where applicable.

All wholesale prices are exclusive of VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise. Please refer to the VAT notice above for further details.

We reserve the right to reclassify any order from retail to wholesale, or vice versa, if the order volume, frequency, or nature of the goods indicates that it falls outside the intended transaction category.

Ownership and Risk

Title transfers after full payment, risk upon delivery.

Returns are accepted only for goods that are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied as detailed in our .

You are responsible for the correct and lawful use of all PPE products supplied.

PPE must be used in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 or equivalent local laws.

You indemnify us against any claims resulting from incorrect use, unsafe practices, or the redistribution of products.

Legal and Insurance

Goods in Transit

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from the delivery or non-delivery of products, except to the extent required by law.

Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer upon collection of the parcel by the courier service from Geckgo Secure’s premises.

For high-value orders, customers may request additional shipping insurance at their own cost. We do not automatically insure parcels beyond standard courier coverage.

We shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance or delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riots, embargoes, strikes, courier disruptions, or government restrictions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping and contact information provided is accurate. We will not be held liable for misdeliveries or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

Customer Responsibility

If you arrange your own courier or on-site collection, the risk of the goods transfers to you upon collection.

Please note that it is your responsibility to verify the authority and identification of the collecting agent.

We do not accept any liability for goods collected by an unauthorised or improperly identified person.

Liability Insurance

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from improper PPE selection, failure to follow safety guidelines, or misuse.

You are responsible for the correct and lawful use of all PPE products supplied.

PPE must be used in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 or equivalent local laws.

You indemnify us against any claims resulting from incorrect use, unsafe practices, or redistribution of products.

Claims

All claims related to damaged or missing goods concerning the delivery of the goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic proof concerning damaged goods.

Orders and Payment

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa.

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise specified or agreed upon.

Where the payment is in a foreign currency, you carry the risk of currency fluctuations/conversions. The currency rate on the date of payment will be used for invoicing purposes.

Accepted payment methods subject to approval received: Visa, Mastercard, EFT (Bank Transfer), and Payfast or Peach.

On written request to sales@geckgosecure.com will details of payments made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into our bank account, be provided to an authorised person.

Orders are processed only after confirmation of the payment is received by us from an accredited financial institution within 3 business days after receipt of the confirmation of payment.

We reserve the right to cancel or limit any order at our sole discretion.

Payment Security

All payments are processed via secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store credit card information on our servers.

Card transactions will be acquired for us via Payfast by Network, which is the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Payast by Network uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website.

Users may go to https://payfast.io/ to view their security certificate and security policy of Payfast.

Customer details will be stored by us separately from card details, which are entered by the client on Payfast by Network’s secure site. For more details on Payfast by Network, refer to www.payfast.io.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

For international shipments, you are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and clearance.

Returns and Refunds

Due to health and hygiene regulations, PPE items are non-returnable unless the correct Refund Policy is followed.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, if you are a natural person purchasing for private use.

In the case of the unavailability of the product, refer to the term above concerning the availability of products with either a refund or agreeing on an alternative product.

Intellectual Property

All Site content—including logos, images, product data, and design is the property of GeckGo Secure (Pty) Ltd or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Loss of profits, revenue, or business.
Injury or loss arising from incorrect or unsafe use of PPE.
In the event of any form of liability, our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the affected product.

Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

We choose as our domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under the terms of use of the Site, whether in respect of court process, notices, or other legal documentation or communications of whatsoever nature, at the following address: Rolina Street, Garsfontein, Pretoria, Gauteng, 0077.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Johannesburg, Gauteng, for any disputes.

Force Majure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, labour strikes, supply chain disruptions, or internet outages.

Variation

We reserve the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms and Conditions or any of the other Policies at our sole discretion and at any time.

Any changes will be published concerning these Terms or other Policies, and your continued use of the Site after such changes have been posted will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms and Policies.
